March Glossybox - Step Into Spring

Hey Hey!

As promised I'm back with a peek at the beautiful new box of titillating treats from Glossybox.

The box contains 4 full sized products and a pair of tester products.

The products are a mixture of nail products, hair care, beauty and skin care. Often a few products in these boxes are hit and miss but I definitely think I will make use of all of the products I was sent this month.

First up......
NAOBAY - Moisturizing Peeling.
This is a full sized product, and is priced at £13.71 for 100ml.

This is described as an organic peeling milk containing particles from the acai tree, which help remove dead skin cells and brighten the skin. It has a luxurious texture and a fresh almost slightly citrus scent, perfect for refreshing your face this spring. The packaging is in my opinion a high point of the product, simple and understated, I love the wood used to create the lid. You can purchase this product here, I certainly will when I've worked my way through this tube.

Essence - Lash Princess Volume Mascara.

Another full sized product, this one priced at £3.30 and available here. Now, I have allot of mascaras, it's one of my favourite cosmetics. I do really like the packaging of this, it's attractive and fun. But I think the wand is a little on the small side, it doesn't really create the volume it promises but will be an ok daytime, basic look mascara. Overall for the price I don't think you can really complain, although after using the product, and looking through the website I would say this product is better aimed at teenagers just starting out with make up.

Now a look at my favourite item from this months Glossybox!
ncLA - Nail Lacquer.

I LOVE ncLA products so was really excited to see this gorgeous spring colour peeking at me from within my box of treats!
I was sent a full size bottle of colour 'LIEK...TOTALLY VALLEY GIRL'. Available for £13 via this lovely site.
I love the pigmentation of this vibrant neon pastel pink, and the coverage after just two coats is excellent, not to mention the the durability, ncLA never fail on that front! Definitely one to buy if you're looking to update your nails for spring.

Now onto the final full sized product in my March box.
Carmex - Moisture Plus Ultra Hydrating Lip Balm.

Again a product I love. I'm not a fan of lipstick, I find it feels very heavy on my lips, so I love having a new tinted lip balm or gloss to try out, and this one has made it into my handbag! Not surprisingly I have used many Carmex products, they have been around for over 75 years after all, and this one is just as good, the shea butter helps this product keep my lips silky soft with just a hint of tint, perfect for the warmer weather on its way (hopefully!).
You can pick your up by visiting here and parting with just £4.49.

Last, but not least, my little tester treats, which are perfectly sized for travel!
Dove Advanced Hair Series - Youthful Vitality Shampoo and Conditioner.

These are fantastic travel sized products, each one is around 12ml, great for a cheeky weekend trip!
I'm yet to use these items, but I have used Dove hair products many times, I have difficult dry, frizzy hair and love the moisture Dove provides. These products smell gorgeous which is plus!
If you would like to buy the full sized items you can visit your local supermarkets and drugstores, each one costs around £5.99.

So that's it.....or at least it would be! This month marked a year of me first subscribing to Glossybox, so the lovely guys send me a little present!

How cute and thoughtful!
I love making notes, it keeps me sane, so I will definitely get loads of use from my new Glossynotes note book! Thank you Glossybox!

After a year I think I have had enough time to forge a good opinion of the service provided by Glossybox, and I can honestly say I have thoroughly enjoyed receiving my boxes each month. Sure, not all products are perfect for everyone, but that's understandable, 99% of the time I will make use of each thing I'm sent, and the tings I won't I can pass on to friends or family. I will definitely continue to subscribe.

If this little ramble has inspired you to give it a go, you can sign up here, each box is £10 plus £3.25pp, great value in my opinion.

I hope you've enjoyed having a look at this box, if you already subscribe let me know what you though of the picks this month! And if you decided to sign up, enjoy!

Enjoy your week lovelies,

Much Love

Spring Skin Care Switch Up!

Hey Hey!

Welcome back and apologies for being quiet for a couple of days, I had planned on getting this post done yesterday, but my poor lil' Mumma was taken into hospital on Monday so I was required to carry out my daughterly duties <3 She's home now but still quite poorly so send lots of healing, happy thoughts!

Now, as we're finally coming out of what has felt like a never ending winter and heading into spring, I thought I would switch up my skincare routine.....admittedly I'm in the middle of a huge breakout so that helped me in making my decision too!

I decided to buy a few items from the SIMPLE range, I've used products here and there and always liked it, mainly because they do as they promise, they're great for sensitive skin like mine!
As you can see from the above I purchased 6 items from the range. Cleansing Facial Wipes, Eye Make-up Remover, Moisturising Facial Wash, Purifying Cleansing Lotion, Soothing Facial Toner and finally the Hydrating Light Moisturising. Each product is a good size and very well priced at between £3.50 - £5.50.

I don't use things like this daily, I like to let my skin remain natural for a few days a week, but I love that the ingredients in these products, along with the two vitamins (pro vitamin B5 and vitamin E) help me feel like what I'm using isn't too harsh. I also adore that no artificial perfumes or colours are used.

I have only been trying out the range for a few days, but so far I'm enjoying it and looking forward to seeing some results with my troublesome skin!

If you would like to purchase any of the above items, you can find them in most drug stores, such as Boots and Superdrug as well as in many supermarkets! Let me know if you already use them and what you think, or even if you use something else and would like to recommend something, drop me a comment!

I'll be back on Saturday, 'style Saturday!', with a look at another outfit that I picked up as a part of my recent haul from ASOS Curve, and on Sunday with a special Mothers Day post!

Don't forget to use all of the social network links below and follow along with me!

Enjoy the rest of your week lovelies,

Much Love,

Beauty Wednesday - OPI Fifty Shades Of Grey Collection.

OPI Nails Fifty Shades of Grey

Hey Hey!

Welcome back, and to Beauty Wednesday.
I recently visited the cinema to watch the highly anticipated Fifty Shades Of Grey, Mr Grey wasn't my cup of tea, but, the FSOG inspired set from the gods over at OPI definitely is!
I'm a huge fan of nail varnish, and have a reasonable collection, OPI has to be my current favourite, the polishes cover so well, have great pigmentation and the collection of colours is so immensely varied. You can appreciate my excitement when i found this little set of beauties!

The themed box contains 6, 3.75ml varnishes.

OPI Nail Varnish, Fifty Shades of Grey

As you can see, OPI have created 6 gorgeous colours, and they have 6 equally great names -

Embrace The Gray - 'Let this chic, moody gray crème become one with you,'
~
Dark Side Of The Mood - 'This brooding, stormy charcoal is dangerously gorgeous.'
~
Shine For Me - 'The shimmering silverwith subtle blue sparkle really turns me on!'
~
My Silk Tie - 'This silky, gleaming silver has got me all tied up.'
~
Romantically Involved - 'I'm in a deep relationship with this luscious crème red.'
~
Cement The Deal - 'I'd sign anything to get my hands on this stony, cool gray.'

OPI Nail Polish

As always with OPI products, in my opinion, they paint really well and give great coverage. They dry in a reasonable time and always last well on my nails, and I'm a busy mummy of two!
The only Issue I have with the set is that the two crème grey colours are sooooo close to being the same once dried, when I was taking the pictures I actually got myself confused......but to be honest, that really isn't that hard!
Overall I highly recommend the set, its a great way to experiment with different colours at a very reasonable price. The set retails at around £19.95, for 6 OPI products I think that's great.

OPI Nails

I hope this peek will encourage you to delve into the 50 Shades collection. If you do let me know what you think!

Pop over to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and follow along.

Have a great week!

Much Love,
xoxo

Glossybox UK - February 2015 - The Love Edition.

Hey Hey!

Guess who's back, back again.......
Today I will be sharing the gorgeousness that is the February 2015 Glossybox.

Glossybox Uk

Glossybox is a fantastic monthly subscription service, priced at £10 per month plus £3.25 p&p. Each month I am sent a selection of beauty products, some being full size and others sample. The boxes are often themed, depending on the time of year, eg: Christmas, Summer, Winter and so on.

This month, not surprisingly was Valentines themed, The Love Edition.

February 2015 Glossybox

I LOVE the themed boxes all of the time, but this one is just beautiful!
This month when I opened the scrummy packaging I was met with 5 products, all of which i'm sure I will get full use of, which is exciting and very rare for me with my monthly subscription boxes.

Glossybox Love edition

The first product that caught my eye, purely because of the mouth watering packaging the Royal Apothic 'Tinties'.

Royal Apothic 'Tinties'

A wonderful, moisturising lip butter. I was sent it in the shade 'Coral'. Each beautiful pot contains shea butter and three oils, argan, grape seed and almond making it super nourishing.
The brand originates in Los Angeles and  is said to be a favourite of Victoria Beckham.
The lip butter costs around $14 and can be purchased here .

The next item I noticed purely because of the size!
Wilkinson Sword - Hydro Silk.

Wilkinson Sword - Hydro Silk

Who doesn't want silky smooth legs in time for Valentines day!?
This razor is priced at £9.99 and claims to keep your skin hydrated for up to 2 hours after use, it has a water activated bar of moisturising serum containing shea butter and five, yes five blades.....smoothness here I come!
I'm sure these can be picked up in most drugstores, but if not you can click here and grab yourself one.

Up next is a product from a range I have tried and tested before, and actually like quite a lot.
So Susan - Rose Quartlet Lip & Cheek Palette.

How cute is this?!
This contains a mix and match combination of lip and cheek products in a handy sized product, along with a tiny, tiny brush!
So Susan definitely have a fan in me.
This can be picked up for £8 by clicking here .

Now i'll move onto mascara! I have 'just a few' in my collection already, but in my opinion you can never have too many, so I was pleased to see the B. Cosmetics mascara colour 100 Black.

The packaging is very subtle, just a clean charcoal/black casing. This full sized item is priced at £9.99 and claims to lengthen, volumise and condition using Lush Active. I do have my favourites when it comes to mascara but i'll definitely give this a good try!
You can buy yours here .

Finally an item inspired by the movie topped to be the film of the year, 'Fifty Shades of Grey', I have been sent the MARSK - Mineral Eyeshadow in the shade Fifty Shades.

MARSK - Mineral Eyeshadow (Fifty Shades)

This picture really doesn't do this product any justice, I love the deep grey, it has a shimmer too which is a winner in my book, I can't wait to try it out this weekend when I go to see the film!
Even better the mineral-based shadow is 100% natural and highly pigmented so will either create a really dramatic look or go a long way. This little beauty can be picked up here and is £14.49.

So that's it, except wait......The gorgeous folks over at Glossybox included a super cute and tasty treat!

Love Hearts

Who doesn't like Love Hearts, especially when it Valentines Day!

So that's it folks! All in all I loved this months box, admittedly a few of the recent Glossybox's have been a bit hit and miss for me, but this month they hit the spot on every level, I love every product and will make good use of them all. I definitely this this monthly subscription box is worth the cost. As a busy mumma and wife, I sometimes forget to think of me, so having the lovely chaps at Royal Mail drop this at my door once a month gives me a little treat, in all honesty I forget about each box until it arrives so it's a lovely surprise too!

Don't forget if you would like to become a subscriber you can do so really easily over at glossybox.co.uk .

I do hope you have enjoyed this post, pop a comment below if you would like this to become a monthly post on the blog!

For now i'll say goodbye, but I will be back later this week with a look at a few of the Valentines treat my gorgeous husband and I have picked up this year! In the meantime, pop over to Facebook, Instagram and twitter etc and follow along with me!

Much Love,
